Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Who could have imagined this little fellow doing so much during his childhood to now?

I was working at a local service station some time back and a lady about my age went inside to pay for her gas. I could see her talking to my boss and after she left, my boss asked if I knew her, I said no. He said she knew me from school. She said I was a real devil back then, but what a change he has made in his life. Now he is a Christian. Who would have ever believed it!

I guess I was a bad egg back then. I was into about everything coming and going. Like everyone, I have done things I would like to go back and change in my life. I want to say I am truly sorry to anyone that I have done or said something to that I shouldn's have. I have prayed, cried and ask the Lord to forgive me, and I pray you do the same.

I was about 22 when I started serving the Lord. Over the years I have failed Him so many times, but He has never failed me. The Bible says that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

{Hebrews 13:5

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.}

From the time the Lord came into my life, He has always been there for me. When I make a mistake or done something I shouldn't have done, all I have to do is repent and He will forgive me. I have always said, "If the Lord can change me, He can change anyone. Am I perfect? Not by a long shot. As the song goes, "He's Still Working On Me." If I can endure until the end, I will be saved.

{Matthew 10:22

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.}

We have a lot of enduring to do in this life. We are tried by fire, but always remember, He is in the fire with us.

{Daniel 3:24 - 25

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counselors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

I have always had a desire in my heart to help those in need. Like someone who brings home strays. Like my mom and dad always have, I did in the military and I have all my life. I was like Saul, he thought he was doing good but the Lord showed him better. I was heading in the wrong direction until the shown a great light in front of me. I believe that has been the cause God put in my life. My pastor, Pastor Mike Gifford, has preached love, compassion, forgiveness and caring since we joined church forty some odd years ago.

{1 Corinthians 13:1-2

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity, I become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. ..}
