Veterans Helping 2005 has gone to the Huntington VA Hospital,

attended meetings and visited their new Homeless

Veterans Resource Center.  We like what we have heard,

we like what we saw.

These people have got it together.  One thing that we like is their attitude
toward veterans and the things they do to help veterans and
their families.  They look for ways to make life better.

We were invited to a meeting on 11/1/11 and it let us know how much
they do care.  They invited groups, organizations, and
programs to gather together that benefited veterans and find out what
they do to help.  They talk about things that could be changed and
what more can be added or done to improve the health and lifestyle
of our veterans, not just in Huntington, but all around us.

No matter what the problem a veteran or family member is having,
drug addition, alcohol, P.T.S.D., homeless, hungry, no matter what,
they will help.

Veterans can ask for help and not be treated like they are nothing.
They will sit down and talk to and if it is something they can't do,
they will send you to the right place for help.

Our veterans deserve to be treated with respect and honor, they
have earned it
