          In Memory Of
                         One Of America's Finest!

In Loving
  Memory of
    David Potts

 Gone But
 Not Forgotten!

David, like so many of our young people, puts their lives on hold, leave family, friends, loved ones and their home behind to serve their country.  They go off to a foreign country not knowing what is awaiting them and not knowing if they will ever see their home or family again.  They do it to protect America and mainly their family, friends and loved ones.  Some gave their lives and never returned, some made it home only to find themselves fighting to provide for their families and fighting the government for their benefits.

When David came home he had no idea he would be battling for his life with cancer he picked up while across the water somewhere.  He did his best to tell the government about his cancer and where he got it, but they turned him down though he was in great shape before he left America.

David was a good Christian American boy who only wanted to do his part for his country.  He did not deserve the treatment he received from his country as his life slowly left his body.  He always had good things to say about others and he always had a smile on his face.  He had a good loving Christian family who was by his side all the way up until he left us.

They had a welcome home party for him when he got out of the service.  They had a nice big cookout with all the trimmings as the family and friends gathered in to greet and welcome him home.  They had a time of fellowship and lots to talk about.

I would say that when he moved on to his new home, his family, friends, and his new friends all gathered around and had even a better time at his welcome home party and the speaker for the event was Jesus Himself.  Our government may not have kept their obligation to help and care for him, but he is where he will never have to suffer and die again.

FARE WELL COMRADE, FARE WELL.  GO REST HIGH . . .

Matthew 25:2

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
