SUFFER LITTLE CHILDREN

CHEATED OUT OF CHILDHOOD

Abortion . . .

What are you

doing my

children?

ABORTION has cheated millions of children out of childhood! 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: To be sober means control or restraint of oneself or one's actions, feelings, etc. To be vigilant means to be keenly watchful to detect danger; . There are two kinds of people in this world, God's people and our adversary the devil, which means a person, group, or forces that opposes or attacks;

Our adversary feels that if he can get to our children while they are young, he's got them. He will do his best to cheat our children out of their childhood so as adults he can take their life and have their sole. Every day thousands of children are cheated out of childhood all around the world.

In America more and more children are cheated out of their childhood each day. Only God knows the number. No one on earth knows, a lot of what happens to children is never reported.

There is, however, a running count on one way children are cheated out of childhood and our government says more power to it, Abortion.

Please,

let me live,

I'm not guilty!

* Of all unintended pregnancies, 4 in 10 are aborted. There are approximately 1.21 million abortions in America each year. There has been a steady decline in abortions since 1980. Each year, about 2% of all women aged 15-44 have an abortio.

* Children who could have been, doctors, teachers, attorneys, orI'm presidents of the United States. They could have had the answer to all our problems and save our country from all the troubles we are having. Remember, the Lord has a job for everyone He puts here, we all have a cause. Those who have abortions could be killing the very one who could have turned our country around, but they were cheated out of child-hood. Doctors and those presidents of the United States. They could have had the answer to all our problems and save our country from all the troubles we are having. Remember, the Lord has a job for everyone He puts here, we all have a cause. Those who have abortions could be killing the very one who could have turned our country around, but they were cheated out of childhood.

Doctors and those abording the lives of unborn children is committing murder like those on death row who committed murder. There is no difference. What is the difference in taking the life of this unborn child and the child outside the mother's womb.

Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty—death—for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as for someone who commits murder. This clearly indicates that God considers a baby in the womb to be as human as a full-grown adult. For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image.  A doctor made an oath to save lives, not take them and mothers are to love their children not kill them before they are ever born into this world.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT ABORTION?

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.  Psalm 127:3

The first argument that always arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” As horrible as it would be to become pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, is the murder of a baby the answer? Two wrongs do not make a right. The child who is a result of rape/incest could be given in adoption to a loving family unable to have children on their own, or the child could be raised by its mother. Again, the baby is completely innocent and should not be punished for the evil acts of its father.

The second argument that usually arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about when the life of the mother is at risk?” Honestly, this is the most difficult question to answer on the issue of abortion. First, let’s remember that this situation is the reason behind less than one-tenth of one percent of the abortions done in the world today. Far more women have an abortion for convenience than women who have an abortion to save their own lives.

Second, let’s remember that God is a God of miracles. He can preserve the life of a mother and a child despite all the medical odds being against it. Ultimately, though, this question can only be decided between a husband, wife, and God. Any couple facing this extremely difficult situation should pray to the Lord for wisdom (James 1:5) as to what He would have them to do.

Over 95 percent of the abortions performed today involve women who simply do not want to have a baby. Less than 5 percent of abortions are for the reasons of rape, incest, or the mother's health at risk. Even in the more difficult 5 percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow the child to be born.

For those who have had an abortion, remember that the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, all sins can be forgiven (John 3:16; Romans 8:1; Colossians 1:14). A woman who has had an abortion, a man who has encouraged an abortion, or even a doctor who has performed one—can all be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

"How can a woman experience healing and recovery after an abortion?"

Sad to say, having an abortion and regretting it later is an all-too-common experience. While what has been done cannot be undone, women can experience healing and recovery after an abortion. The God of all comfort and healing is more than able to ease the sorrow and pain of an abortion and can restore women to life and joy.

Although children are always a blessing, they do not always arrive under the most blessed of circumstances. One of the consequences of pre-marital sex is often the conception of an unwanted child. This can be a frightening experience for someone who is not financially, emotionally, or physically prepared for such a responsibility. Many women and teenage girls who decide to seek an abortion are scared, confused, desperate, and extremely vulnerable. In their search for answers, they are fooled into believing that unborn children are expendable "lumps of tissue," not really pre-born human beings. Often this revelation comes later, in the form of post-abortion stress syndrome, guilt, and depression.

There is good news for anyone who has had an abortion, and that is that God offers forgiveness to anyone who asks for it. Romans 3:22says, "We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done." It is never too late to come to God for healing. There is nothing we can do that is so bad it is unforgivable. God offers this forgiveness, and He also offers peace of mind and heart, if we will only receive it by putting our faith in the Christ, Jesus, allowing Him permanent residence and authority in our lives.

Some women who are already Christians also find themselves in situations where they may decide to have an abortion, perhaps out of fear of how they will be perceived by the Christian community when their choice of having pre-marital sex is profoundly evident. Even if the Christian woman knows how God feels about abortion, she may feel, out of desperation, that she must get rid of the "evidence." This is perhaps, in part, the responsibility of the church, which may not support women in this situation as well as we should. It is important to assure these women that although God does not approve of their actions, He is ready to offer forgiveness and redemption. The same is true for a Christian woman who has had an abortion. Yes, it is wrong, it is the taking of a life, but it is not unforgivable. The Bible says that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and so when we ask Him for forgiveness, He freely gives it.

This is not because we deserve it, but because this is the loving nature of our Lord. When a woman realizes the repercussions of having an abortion, she may find it difficult to forgive herself. But God does not want us to live with perpetual guilt; He wants us to learn from our mistakes and use them to His advantage, as well as our own. It will require a lot of prayer, which is simply conversation with God. This and studying the Bible help us get to know God better so that we can trust Him to heal us and be better equipped to do His work. Instead of dwelling on the act, a woman should be encouraged to use her experience to help others. She may first need to go through Christian counseling to help get through the experience, as it can be traumatic. But in the aftermath, if she trusts in the Lord, she will be stronger and more spiritually mature. She will have gone through an experience that God is able to use to strengthen her character and prepare her for ministering to others.

"Does the Bible teach that life begins at conception?"

The Bible does teach that life begins at conception. Every culture's view of when human life begins changes as society's values, moral standards, and knowledge about the process of embryonic development change. Prior to the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that allowed abortion on demand, developing embryos were considered unborn persons. Now, even a fetus that could survive on its own outside its mother's womb could be aborted, under certain medical circumstances. This demonstrates that we do not consider an unborn child to be a true human being.

Science tells us that human life begins at the time of conception. From the moment fertilization takes place, the child's genetic makeup is already complete. Its gender has already been determined, along with its height and hair, eye and skin color. The only thing the embryo needs to become a fully-functioning being is the time to grow and develop.

More importantly, God reveals to us in His Word that not only does life begin at conception, but He knows who we are even before then (Jeremiah 1:5). King David said this about God's role in our conception: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb . . . your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139:13, 16).

Society continually seeks to devalue the lives of the unborn, creating its own definitions of humanity based on distorted views of morality. But the undeniable fact is that life begins at creation, and a human is created as soon as he or she is conceived. God is present at our creation; He is, in fact, our Creator. Our value as human beings created in His image is conceived even before we are.

"Do the souls of aborted babies go to heaven"?

Abortion as we know it today was not practiced in biblical times, and the Bible never specifically mentions the issue of abortion. It is clear from the Scriptures that an unborn baby is known by the Lord, even from the time of conception (Psalm 139:13-16). Although the Bible does not mention abortion or aborted babies, we do have two keys to help us unlock the answer to the question of whether the souls of aborted babies go to heaven.

The first key is from the only passage in the Bible where something specific is said about the death of infants. In 2 Samuel 12 we learn of David’s affair with Bathsheba, another man’s wife. David was informed by the prophet Nathan that the child produced by that union would die. David then began to fast and pray, asking the Lord to not carry out His judgment. When the child did die, David got up from praying and fasting and ate something.

When asked about this behavior, David uttered the words recorded in 2 Samuel 12:23, “Now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” David’s words reflect a clear understanding that the child could not come back to earth, but David would be with his child one day in heaven. This indicates not only David’s assurance of his own future in heaven (Psalm 23:6), but also the assurance that his child would share that future. From this account, we can conclude that infants who die are destined for heaven.

The second key to dealing with this issue is an understanding of the character and attributes of God. A God of justice must punish sin, for the Bible teaches us that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Neither an unborn child nor an aborted baby has had the opportunity to willfully sin; however, every child conceived bears the sin nature inherited from Adam (Psalm 51:5) and is therefore subject to judgment. At the same time, God reveals Himself as a God of goodness and mercy (Psalm 136:26). He is “gracious in all His works” (Psalm 145:17). It could very well be that God, in His grace, applies the sacrifice of Christ to the unborn victims of abortion. We know Christ’s blood is sufficient for such a thing. After all, Jesus died “for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2).

The Bible does not specifically say whether or not an unborn child who dies goes to heaven. Without a clear passage, we can only speculate. However, we know of God’s love, goodness, and compassion. We know of David’s confidence that he would be with his child again. And we know that Jesus invited the children to come to Him (Luke 18:16). Based on these sureties, we believe it is appropriate to conclude that the souls of children are immediately in the presence of God when their lives are cut short by abortion.

An abortion can affect a woman in a variety of ways and at various times in her life. Some women feel relieved initially while others suffer emotionally. It is difficult to predict someone’s response to their abortion in the short or long term. Post abortion stress can be affected by a woman’s age, stage in pregnancy, emotional and mental health, religious or cultural beliefs, or whether she felt she was pressured into having an abortion.
