About Child Molesters?
Matthew 18:6
But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones, &c. As offending signifieth the laying of a stumbling block before any, so it signifieth any motion or temptation to
them to sin against God, whether it be by flattering or frowning arguments, though the latter seemeth rather to be understood here; so, by offending, it signifies the doing them any harm upon Christ’s account, because they own him, and make a profession of his gospel, which, besides that it is a stumblingblock upon which they fall and suffer as to their bodies and outward concerns, is also a stumbling block to their souls, such dangers being strong temptations to Christians, to turn them aside from the right paths of truth and holiness.
1 Corinthians 6:13
“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
The Lord is coming back. Right now He is a God of mercy, but when He comes back, He will be a God of vengous. There are all kinds of ungodly spirits in the world today and they dwell in anyone who will let them. The only way those who act upon them can make it to heaven is if they repent, be baptized in His name, receive His Holey Spirit and turn from their wicked ways. If they don't they are in trouble.
This is a description of the last judgment. It is as an explanation of the former parables. There is a judgment to come, in which every man shall be sentenced to a state of everlasting happiness, or misery. Christ shall come, not only in the glory of his Father, but in his own glory, as Mediator. The wicked and godly here dwell together, in the same cities, churches, families, and are not always to be known the one from the other; such are the weaknesses of saints, such the hypocrisies of sinners; and death takes both: but in that day they will be parted for ever. Jesus Christ is the great Shepherd; he will shortly distinguish between those that are his, and those that are not.
Here are three passages in the Bible where Jesus talks not only about child molesters but also about anyone who harms a child in any way:
Matthew 18:5-6 says:
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mark 9:42 says:
And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

A millstone is a rock that weighs more than a truck. In all of the verses above, Jesus says, in effect, that the punishment awaiting a child molester is worse than their being chained to a truck and then being dropped into a deep body of water. Jesus is telling us that their punishment will be WORSE THAN A HORRIBLE DEATH. Jesus is also telling us in the verses above that we need a death penalty law for child molesters.
Now, there are some who will say, “But Jesus is all about forgiveness.” To which we reply, It is true that Jesus is all about forgiveness, and He does, but He also says that we will also be punished by the law of the land. Jesus is not only the God of mercy. Jesus is also the God of rath. If a man or woman breaks the law and they turn to the Lord for forgiveness, he will forgive them if they are truley sorrow. The Bible calls it godly sorrow, however, this does not mean you won't pay for your crime if you are found guilty. If the law says you will spend time in jail or prison, you must, and if the law gives you the death pentalty, it will happen.
Jesus said in Matthew 22:21:
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
Caesar, of course, was the head of the government of Jesus time. In this verse, Jesus tells us that there are “the things of Caesar [the things of government]” and “the things of God [the things of God’s rulership of all things, including government].” As Christians we are to follow the things of God, which includes forgiving everyone for anything they have done, even as far as forgiving a child molester for what they have done,… As the old saying goes, every dog has it's day. 1 Peter 4:17 on judgment beginning at the house of God.
Rom 1:26 - 28
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Homosexuality vs. God's Holiness
The Ordinance of the Amorites
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude 1:7
Today the Church is faced with a crisis it never had to face before in its 2000 year history. The crisis comes from homosexuality being presented as acceptable behavior by factions within the Church. Certain denominations such as the Episcopalian are promoting homosexual pastors and marriage. Bold homosexual ministers, actually living with a partner, stand in the pulpit promoting this lifestyle. On June 15, 2008, two Anglican Church, male priests "married" in an official church wedding ceremony.
On June 26, 2003, homosexuality was defined by the Supreme Court of the United States as a Constitutional right of privacy. This has opened the flood gates to advance the homosexual agenda. Soon after this, starting in San Francisco and then spreading to many other states, homosexuals were "married" in civil ceremonies.
In November 2003, the Supreme Court of Massachusetts demanded that the state legislature enact homosexual marriage legislation.
On May 17, 2004, homosexual marriage became legal in this state. On May 15, 2008, the California State Supreme Court ruled that homosexuals were entitled to marry. On June 15, 2008, homosexuals began to legally marry. The floods gates are now wide open throughout America to advance the homosexual agenda.
Pastors within mainline denominations are "marrying" homosexuals. These denominations seem to lack the resolve to stand up against this trend. The Episcopalian Church among others is leading the way in promoting homosexuality. On August 6, 2003, the Episcopalian Church voted to install Gene Robinson as bishop of New Hampshire . Robinson is a man who divorced his wife with whom he had two children and now lives in an open homosexual relationship. He remained a minister and then was voted a bishop. This is only one of many examples of how denominations are either passively or outright promoting homosexuality by not disciplining ministers who are advancing the homosexual agenda. The "church" has become a leader of the homosexual agenda.
There are now movements both within civil government and religious circles to sanction homosexual marriages. This never happened before in our history. This is unchartered waters for America . It is not unchartered waters according to the Bible because it states what happens to a nation that promotes sodomy.
Those who stand against this act are now being branded as narrow minded religious bigots who are against diversity. There is now a social tidal wave going on to promote, encourage and protect the homosexual act. Leading the way in this movement are both politicians and clergy who claim to believe the Bible.
In the very first chapter of the Bible, God ordains the union of a man and woman and the family unit. He ordained the marriage between a man and a woman. This was the plan of God from the very beginning: one man and one woman and a family. This plan of God has not changed and no law of man including the Supreme Court of the United States can alter God’s family unit.
Genesis 1:26-28 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply..."
Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
In the New Testament, the Bible states that marriage is honorable in all things and that those who defile it by adultery and whoremongering will come under the direct judgment of God. The Greek word translated whoremongering is the same word translated fornication. This word is very important in defining what homosexuality is and will be developed shortly. Remember, marriage as defined by the Bible is a union between one man and one woman. You must always keep in mind how God defines marriage: one man and one woman.
Hebrews 13:4 "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."
The Ordinances of the Amorites
Genesis 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
God told Abraham that his descendants were going to leave the land of Canaan for 400 years because the iniquity of the people living in the land was not complete. There is a process for a society to be taken over by iniquity. In the case of the Canaanites, God gave these people 400 years to stop iniquity. God knew that after 400 years the iniquity of the people would reach its peak. The people would not turn from sin, but they would completely embrace it.
When studying Genesis 15:16 there is a key word in this verse. It is the Hebrew word translated full. This word is directly connected with the idea of friendly or friendship. The concept of this word is that when a society is friendly with iniquity at that point it is subject to judgment from God. Iniquity is no longer shameful or a disgraceful. It is not hidden or done in the dark. The people are friendly with it. They are accustomed to it. In Genesis 15:16, the Bible does not define iniquity: it simply states that there is a time for it to mature in a society and become full.
After the 400 years, the Jews left Egypt and came back to the land of Canaan . Today it is called the land of Israel . At this time, the Bible identifies what is iniquity. In Leviticus 18, God warned the Jews not to follow the ordinances of the Canaanites who lived in the land. The Canaanites and Amorites blended into one people; therefore it is also the ordinances of the Amorites that are mentioned in Genesis 15:16.
Leviticus 18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt , wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan , whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
In the above verse, the key word is ordinances. The Hebrew word means an enactment and is also translated custom, manner, and statute. By using the word ordinance the Bible is describing a society that is "friendly" with iniquity. Iniquity has become ingrained in the Canaanites by both customs and laws which makes it a way of life. For this reason, God is about to judge the Canaanites and drive them off the land. The judgment comes because iniquity is an ordinance of the society and not because individuals are committing iniquity. When a society makes iniquity an ordinance, this is extremely serious with God.
Later in chapter 18, the Bible defines iniquity. It includes such acts as: adultery, child sacrifice, homosexuality and bestiality. Homosexuality is singled out from this group and described as an abomination. Without any doubt, God strongly condemns the homosexual act as iniquity. There is no section in the Old Testament where God approves or condones homosexuality. The homosexual act is a very serious offense to God. It is linked with child sacrifice and bestiality. The Scriptures to show this follow:
Leviticus 18:20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her. (Adultery)
(21) And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. (Child sacrifice)
(22) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Homosexuality)
(23) Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. (Bestiality)
The Bible warns that when homosexuality becomes an ordinance, social custom or norm, it will bring God's judgment on that nation. When the Bible defines iniquity, the homosexual act would automatically fall under the description of this word. In the strongest language possible, the Bible says because of iniquity the land will vomit out its inhabitants. The Scriptures to show this follows:
Leviticus 18:24-27 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
(25) And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
(26) Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
(27) (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
The United States now is enacting, by both custom and law, the Ordinances of the Amorites; therefore the nation is defiled before the holy God of Israel and faces His judgment. By promoting homosexuality, America has become like the ancient pagan Amorites and has now come under the judgment of God.
America promotes homosexuality by custom with events such as Gay Pride Day, Gay Awareness Month (June), Gay day at Disney land, Gay Day at sporting events and events like Southern Decadence in New Orleans . There are gay clubs in high school and colleges. The political parties are pandering to the homosexuals for their votes. By custom, homosexuality has woven into the fabric of America .
America is continually making ordinances to advance the homosexual agenda. Sodomites can legally marry in California and Massachusetts while many states recognize civil unions. Homosexuals are now able to adopt children and gain custody of children during a divorce. There are now numerous hate speech laws which are being used to silence opposition to the homosexual agenda. America is a long way down the road to enacting all the Ordinances of the Amorites.
The Bible warns of God judging a nation that walks in these ordinances. When the corporate attitude of a nation is friendly toward homosexuality then at this point the iniquity is full. It is apparent that "the cup" of America ’s sin is rapidly filling up. Americans hardly blush anymore at fornication and adultery. The nation kills over one million babies a year with up to 50 million killed since 1973. The legalizing of abortion was an additional Ordinance of the Amorites. Homosexuality is fast becoming a constitutional right. The only ordinance left to fulfill Leviticus 18 is bestiality. This is probably next on line to become an ordinance!
