Ian't it strange that in an instant,
our loved ones are taken away.
Leaving this world to go to heaven,
leaving so many things to say.
Remember the life we shared together,
how the days and years have flown.
They have gone to be in Heaven
and now we feel so alone.
We will always love and miss them
and hoped we would never part.
For they took a special part of us with them,
leaving us with a broken heart.
They say time is healing,
that we will forget in a while.
I find we keep on hoping,
we could see one more loving smile.
We must remember we are called,
when our job is finally done.
To spend eternity with our departed loved,
beyond the setting sun.
Though the soul is in heaven,
close to our Heavenly Fathers throne.
Their spirit may sometimes hover near us,
so we are never alone.
So try to have comfort in our Christ,
in which we believe.
For it is said about the Spirit,
it is as the air we breathe.
