Please brother and sister listen to me,
I'll tell you about the man from Galilee.
I once was a prisoner of sin now I'm free,
Because of this man from Galilee.
I thought I had a heavy cross to bear,
I thought that no one did really care.
He said "I can have compassion
and love for you,
I once carried a mighty heavy cross too.
I was nailed to the cross. They pierced my side.
And upon this cross I finally died.
I died for your sins don't you see."
Said this man from Galilee.
What was his crime? What was his sin,
that made some people fear and hate him?
Jealousy, greed, power and sin,
That were the things that made them hate him.
He said "Forgive them father, they know not what they do.
"He died that day for their sins too.
Getting to know him set me free.
Praise God for the Holy Man from Galilee.
