I think we will always remember that terrible day,
Of the mammogram, CAT scan, biopsy or x-ray.
Cancer is terribloe, it is so unkind,
By the pain it causes in body and mind.
it makes us feel so inferior, if we lose a body part,
It really depresses us and breaks our heart.
We thin we are not complete don't you see,
Will my family and friends accept
and still love me.
We discuiss it with loved ones
amid all of the tears,
They say we will always love you
all your remaining years.
For loved one we love you with all of our heart,
We just dont love you for just one part.
Then when they thini that we are asleep,
We hear our loved ones go alone to weep.
They may thin they are weak
and it makes them shy,
But we all know it takes a strong person to cry.
Some times we hear them praying
to our God above,m
Begging for his mercy and prfessing their love.
It gives us assurance when all hope is gone,
It is then we know that
love is the rock we build our loves on.
