Out before dawn looking for the deer,
Out in the cold, freezing off your rear,
While your wife so cozy in her bed.
All you have to drink is coffee
strong as lye,
The wife is enjoying a fresh cup
and a piece of pie.
Then you see the biggest deer
and you shoot so quick,
But when you pull the trigger,
all you hear is click.
Now there is anger in your mind,
where the hunter dwells,
You big old dummy,
you forgot to bring your shells.
