There was a Gospel Hour, the hosts were Jan and Jim.
Church people turned their radios on and invited them in.
For many years they were together working for the LORD.
They enjoyed working together, never seeming bored.
Having good and bad days that come with living life
Each making life better, him a loving husband, her a loving wife.
Each had their share of illness I never heard them blame God or complain.
They thanked him for his blessings and praised his Holy name.
After a very long illness Jan left Jim's side,
He had never been this lonely since she became his bride.
No one to share his most innermost secrets or his most precious love.
For Jan was called home by our Father above.
I feel even being called, Jan didn't completely go.
Her spirit stayed here waiting for Jim, helping him with his Gospel Show.
