Honor this wonderful material we call the American flag,
Whether it is brand new or a war torn rag,
I love this flag it means everything to me.
It is the symbol of a land that is totally free.
If you ever burn it in protest, it is a disgrace.
If you don't like America, others gladly take your place.
They know what this flag stands for and the price
     that was paid.
If they were an American citizen they would love and
     honor this flag.
They know the greatest gift is to live and be free.
So when you see this flag go by and you are in a crowd.
Salute and honor it and even say out loud.
