Suffer Little Children
jesus - abused as a child

Our book is all about child abuse. It tells of all the ways children are abused and how they suffer throughout their lives. Child abuse or child maltreatment is any act or failure to act, by a parent or other caregiver that results in actual or potential harm to a child. It includes all forms of physical abuse, sexual abuse, psychological abuse, or neglect, and can occur in a child's home, or in the organizations, schools or communities the child interacts with.
Jesus Abused As A Child!
As we all know, Jesus was God in the flesh. John Chapter 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 14 And the Word (God) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. People take things the wrong way sometimes and end up doing and saying things that end up hurting and sometimes even causing people to die.

Herod was the King of the Jews at the time and he thought there was no one else like him in the world. He was quick to judge and hot-headed. the flew off the handel very easley when things didn't go his way. / Do you know people that way, who's anger causes them to abuse their wives and even their children? / Herod was that way. He didn't care who he hurt, adults or children, it made no difference to him. As long as he got his way and what ever he wanted was all that mattered.

Herod was living with a cause. It wasn't a good cause, his cause was to try to kill Jesus. He didn't realize it, but he was on a mission for Satan. Satan was the one who wanted Jesus done away with. Even before Jesus was born Satan knew what was going on and he had plans to kill Jesus. Like the Lord, Satan is a spirit. He can't phisically harm anyone, he has to dwell in someone and get them to do his dirty work for him. Which is what King Herod was doing.

He was born to be abused & die for all man kind
to give us Eturnal Live.
We talk to our children/grandchildren about strangers, going up to cars and all the things they need to know about safety. We love our children enough to teach them these things, how much more does Jesus love us? The Lord tells us in Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
The suffering Jesus did from the time He was born until the day He died wasn't just for the adults, He did it for the children too. 1 Peter 4:4 says For inasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind, . . . Hebrews 4:15 says that Jesus was tempted in every respect as we are. (Meaning - He has experienced the same class of temptation and experiences we have, so he is able to sympathize with us.) As a child, He suffered through the things our children do today. He wants to hold and comfort our children for the suffering they go through, which is why He says in Matthew 1914 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (King James Version (KJV)

There is nothing that we haven't suffered from or tempted with that Jesus hasn't or didn't go through during His time on earth. He even suffered the cross for us.
The bible doesn't come right out and say it, but it says He suffered and was tempted the same as we are. That means He was bullied, made fun of, had His run-in with child molesters, abusers, was neglected and before he finally gave His life on the cross, He was beaten so bad He couldn't be recognized as human.
He knows how it feels to be neglected, abused, hungry, homeless and all manner of things. He understands loneliness, forsaken and not wanted. He even knows what it is to have friends you have something for them and they are nowhere around when you need them.
Tears are a language He understands quite well.
It saddens Him when He sees things happening to people that aren't right or shouldn't happen. That's why He went away to prepare a place for everyone that would accept Him for who He is and has love in their heart instead of hate.
There is something about Jesus that He wants us to understand, the meaning of love and forgiveness. No matter what happens or comes our way, no matter what is said about us or done to us in this life we must learn to forgive. Yes, it is a hard thing to do, but Jesus set a real example for us the day He died on the cross for us. He said in Luke 23:34 "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." No one could suffer and go through what He did by His own people and have forgiven them for what they did.

BORN TO DIE

BUT NOT BEFORE
HE'S BORN
The Lord told us how important it is to teach our children as they grow into adults. Deuteronomy 6:6 says And these words which I command thee this day shall be in thine heart; 7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down and when thou risest up.
